Jake, male, 8yr old Border Collie mix, weighs 38lbs Jake has had some tough days. He was found injured by a good Samaritan and they brought him to rescue in Texas. From what the vet thought, he had been hit by a car as he had a fractured pelvis. This has completely healed, and it has not stopped him from loving life. He is extremely sweet and loves other dogs and kids. He has a calm demeanor and is happy to hang around the house and in his dog bed. Jake is house trained and has not ever needed to be crated in his foster home due to him being so trustworthy. If you are looking for a wonderful companion dog that doesn't require a lot of exercise and has perfect house manners, get your application in quickly for this fine gentleman.
