Jasper is a petite 10 year old chihuahua that dreams of a loving, quiet home. He’s a friendly little guy- and just 5 pounds! Jasper’s ideal retirement home would be loving, calm and quiet. Is Jasper a lap dog? You bet! He doesn’t mind being picked up and being held either. Jasper is ready for you today! **Jasper does have cataracts and age related medical needs. Staff will discuss with potential adopters.** *If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk. No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance. If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
