Jellybean is an 8 week old, 8.5 lb male Retriever/Terrier mixed breed.
Jellybean is currently located in South Texas and will be transported.
This cutie with the wrinkly face is Jellybean, or the Jelly man. Jellybean is a sweet and somewhat quiet pup, who was rescued with his seven siblings and mom. He is now in a new foster home with one of his brothers, and also lives with several older dogs, so he has good role models and playmates. Jellybean also lived with cats at his first foster home, and was comfortable with the kitties. Jelly absolutely adores toys, he is a complete toy hog and will pile all the toys up by his special spot, where he lords over them like Midas over his gold. Jellybean is cuddly and likes attention, but can also be a bit shy at times, so he is receiving extra love and attention from his new foster family to help him and his brother settle in. He is working hard on potty training, but at his young age he is a work in progress. He does enjoy venturing outdoors into the backyard to enjoy the fresh air, and loves being able to stretch his tiny legs by romping around. Jelly's foster mom reports that Jellybean has become a movie critic who is quite fascinated by the TV, so this smart boy will likely be a visual learner. An ideal home for Jellybean would be a person or family who has time to continue training him, take him on walks or other activities so he can exercise, and love on him, making him a beloved family member. If you'd like to meet Jelly and possibly FaceTime with him, he would love to meet you! (Note: Jellybean is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport).
