My Story

12/22/24. All we WANT for Christmas/Hanukkah is for JERRY to find his furever home. 1-2 years old, found wandering the streets of Miami alone, this absolutely adorable dober boy is the epitome of everything wonderful in a Doberman. He craves human affection and loves to be with his people. He is super smart and goofy at the same time, listens really well, is house trained, and rides well in the car. Loves other dogs, plays great at dog parks, but would be best with a playful yet submissive female that won't challenge him or as the only prince of the house. Doesn't seem to mind CATS. PLEASE SHARE JERRY as he really wants some humans to lavish with love. You will never be lonely again if you adopt this magnificent boy! 11/18/24. Good morning from JERRY! This absolutely adorable 1-2 year old dober boy is wondering why no one has come for him yet. He is beyond lovable and just wants to give you kisses. He is still a young boy, so he is quite playful and will need some training, but once he settles down, he just wants to put his head in your lap for some lovin'. He is great with other dogs his size, cats he may be ok with. He rides nicely in the car and is learning to walk well on a leash. He will need his goggles with his light eyes, especially for those bright sunny days. With gentle guidance and love, this boy is going to be a gem and make some family very lucky. 9/14/24. Introducing JERRY! A stunning 2-year-old doberman, this lovable boy was discovered alone in Miami by a kind-hearted individual who reached out to us for help. Jerry is incredibly sweet and adores meeting new people. He's a big fan of snuggling and cherishes every moment of attention he receives. While he gets along well with other dogs, his interactions with cats and kids are yet to be determined. Any family would be fortunate to welcome this fantastic boy into their home. Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
