Jersie is a 6 year old purebred German Shepherd. She was surrendered to the rescue after being attacked by her sibling multiple times in her previous home. The most recent fight resulted in her losing an entire ear. For her safety her family decided it was best for her to find a new family.
Jersie is a very big girl weighing about 90 pounds. She is currently in a foster home with two cats and has been nonreactive although she will chase if they run. She’s grown very close to her foster mom and will bond quickly. In typical German Shepherd fashion, she is very loyal.
Jersie is a very good girl. She is housebroken and knows all of her basic commands. She walks well in a leash and does good in the car. She’s very affectionate and would love a home with somebody who wants to cuddle with her as much as she wants to cuddle with them.
A fence yard would be best and she would probably prefer to be an only pet although with slow introductions she can get along with other dogs if it is the right fit for her.
Jersie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives.
