My Story
Faith, Trooper, James, Breeze, and Jesse—a group of resilient pups who have turned their rough beginnings into a heartwarming rescue story. These 4-5 month-old puppies from different litters are now thriving and ready to bring joy to their forever homes.
Their journey began when someone cruelly dumped them around town, but thanks to caring individuals, they were rescued from various places. Faith, a tough little girl with a big heart, was found with road rash on her face after being tossed into the inside lane of I-40. Fully healed now, she’s ready for her fresh start. Trooper and James, two playful Bull Terrier/Staffy mixes, were pulled from a ditch near a bar after someone witnessed their abandonment. Breeze, a mix of Pitty, Boxer, and American Bulldog, was found on a farm north of town, while Jesse, the smallest of the bunch and possibly a Pitty/Jack Russell Terrier/Cattle Dog mix, was brought to a vet when word spread about the search for his siblings.
All of the pups are below the knee in height and between 20-30lbs each. They will likely stay in the ~40-50lbs range as adults being shorter/longer and a little thicker versus tall. Breeze may get a bit larger as she is taller of the bunch, but it is all a guess. Some of the pups, like James and Tooper, have the appearance of a Bull Terrier, Staffy, or Pitbull mix, which wouldn’t be surprising given the overpopulation of Bull Terriers across Texas. Jesse, with her adorable spots and shorter body, looks like a mix of Pitbull, Jack Russell Terrier, and Cattle Dog, and while she’s the smallest of the group, she’s definitely the one with the most spunk! Breeze has facial features reminiscent of a Boxer, American Bulldog, or American Pitbull. Faith, on the other hand, seems to be a blend of all these wonderful breeds!
Now, the Pitty Committee pis healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever families. These pups are social, friendly, and great with dogs, kids, and even dog-savvy cats. With moderate energy, they’re equally up for playtime and cuddles. They’re crate and pee pad trained, 95% house trained, and walking nicely on a leash and harness.
All of the puppies are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Despite their challenging start, they’ve blossomed into wonderful companions who are ready to bring joy and love to their new homes.
If you’re looking to welcome a sweet, resilient puppy into your family, the Pitty Committee is eager to meet you!
