Jessie

Jessie spent nine long months shut down and terrified at North Central Shelter before we learned about him. With the help of an incredible foster family, we were able to save him from the euthanasia list just in time. He moved into his foster home last Wednesday and is slowly starting to trust humans. Though shy, Jessie is taking brave little steps every day. He loves being cared for and enjoys the gentle routine of having his fluffy coat brushed by his foster parents. Living in Mammoth, his fosters have been introducing him to daily walks—and he even experienced snow for the first time, which he loved! While Jessie still has a long way to go, he remains so gentle. His sweet nature shines through, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even relies on them to set the example. Jessie will need a lot of time and patience, but his future is as bright as the snowy mountains he’s beginning to explore ??
