Jet is a Lab mix with a heart full of love and energy! Plan on having a companion join you on the couch. He will come to you for some kisses and loving and stay for a bit, then move over so you still have your space. Found as a stray with his brother, He was timid at first, but once he warmed up, he was all about love and playtime! He now greets every new person with tail wagging. Jet adores other dogs and will thrive in a home with a canine companion. He has a high energy level and loves playing ball--plus, he's very food-motivated, which makes training fun and easy! Foster is working on the basics like sit, lay down and place and it is going very well. Jet does well with children that are not too excessively loud and excitable. Otherwise, he gets a bit overwhelmed and will cower and leave. Jet has already mastered housetraining. He is also crate trained, sleeps in it all night without problems. While he's still perfecting leash training, he does great with no pulling. If you are willing and ready to give Jet the time, love, and patience he needs, in return you will get a sweet, playful pup who will love to join your family!!!! The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicable ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary.
