My Story

Jet (named for her beautiful black coat) was found as stray. She's a real sweetheart and loves people - so why didn't anyone come looking for her? Perhaps her people couldn't keep her and whoever they gave her to just....... Well, all we know is that there's no one looking. If only she could talk! So now we need to find Jet a new home. This is a happy pup, only about 6 or 7 months old. She loves people and always wants to be around them. Like any lab mix or lab type, she has tons of energy and looks forward to going outside with the volunteers for walks. (Needless to say, she's definitely a favorite of the dog walkers!) Jet has settled in nicely at the animal shelter, and has been given her 1st Distemper and Bordetella Vaccinations. but a shelter is no place for a young dog to grow up so we're hoping someone will come see her, fall in love, and adopt her soon Jet's been given her 1st Distemper and Bordetella Vaccinations. If you have any questions, would like more information about Jet or if you are considering adoption, you can give us a call. (WOAWL 973-736-8689). Or, speak with an animal control officer through the West Orange Health Department at 973-325-4120. Best yet, stop by and take a look. The Township's Animal Control Facility (commonly called The Animal Shelter) is located at 311 Watchung Avenue, West Orange; and is open Monday through Friday 4:30 - 5:30.... (Occasionally additional hours can be made by appointment.) ......
