My Story

What my friends at OHS say about me: I am a sweet and sensitive boy who takes a little time to build trust and make friends. I may be shy at first, but once we get to know each other I will shower you with love! The staff here say I'm being dramatic, but it feels like I'll die when I'm not getting attention! My daily plans include traveling all over: from the bed to the couch, maybe to another bed, and ending up in your lap. Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.Click here to sign-up for our Start over Rover class! We will help you set you on the right path to have the best life possible with your new furry friend through training, games, and exercises! The type of home I'm looking for: I need to go to a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence and to play with! I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home. Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children. I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends! It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
