****AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 12/31 Joie is a one-year-old Feist/Shih Tzu mix, weighing in at a petite 21 pounds. This adorable female dog was surrendered by her previous owner, who claimed to have "too many" animals in their home. But we know that there is no such thing as too many when it comes to the love and joy that a furry friend like Joie can bring. Joie's previous owner also shared that she had a special bond with the family's cat, who was her best friend. So, we believe that she would make an ideal companion for a patient and loving family who will work with her on her housetraining. Despite her small size, Joie has an active and energetic personality. She loves to play and be the center of attention. She would make a constant companion and a best friend to anyone who gives her a chance. Her affectionate and curious nature will surely win your heart. Joie is good with both dogs and cats and has previously lived with kids. Although she may be a bit shy and scared in the loud shelter environment, we know that she will come out of her shell with the right family. With a little love and patience, Joie will make a wonderful addition to any household. Joie will be spayed, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies.
