My Story

Hi, I’m JoJo and I am a Hurricane Helene Survivor! I’m an eight month old pittie mix, weighing in at 45 pounds of pure love and resilience. I don’t expect I will get too much bigger than this! My story starts in North Carolina, where life was pretty scary. I was found all alone in a river after Hurricane Helene swept through. I don’t remember much about how I ended up there, but I do know that I’m one lucky pup to have been rescued. A kind foster mom took me in, nursed me back to health, and gave me a chance to discover what being a puppy is all about. Now I’m thriving here in New Hampshire, and life is looking pretty amazing. I’m still learning the ropes of puppy life, so I can be a little excited at times when I see humans, but I’m eager to please and listen well to commands. With a patient and loving family, I know I’ll grow out of my puppy quirks and become the best companion ever. I currently live with another dog and absolutely love playtime. We love to run around and get all the puppy energy out. But my favorite thing in the world is being with my humans. I’ll happily follow you around wherever you go because after everything I’ve been through, love and connection mean everything to me. I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and even leash-trained, I’m all ready to move right in! Let’s start the next chapter of my journey together!
