Meet Joshua! This handsome 3-year-old German Shepherd mix is ready to find his forever home. Joshua is a sweet and loving boy with a touch of independence. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventative, so he's healthy and ready to go! He's great with children and would make a wonderful companion for a family. Joshua is a smart cookie and very treat-oriented, making training a breeze. He already knows how to sit and with a little consistent training, he's eager to learn even more. He loves to play in water and even enjoys a good swim! He also has a high prey drive (squirrels and rabbits beware!), which could make him a fantastic tracking dog. While Joshua is a loving companion, he does need to be the only pet in the household. He also has a tendency to jump, but with a little patience and training (like his foster family has done!), he learns quickly. If you're looking for an intelligent, active, and loving dog to join your family (and you don't have other pets), Joshua might just be the perfect match!
