Jubilee

Jubilee's adoption fee has been fully sponsored! Jubilee (Jubi) is a very sweet girl who needs a home where she is the only pet. She is currently thriving in a foster home and here is what they have told us: Jubi is a bundle of energy and loves to play and explore. She has fun with tug, having a chew on her tuffy toys, and can't wait to sniff around outside or visit her designated digging spot in our backyard! A Kong or snuffle box are perfect after for calming down. Licking peanut butter off a spoon and bits of cheese are her favorite treats! Jubi happily naps most of the day on her bed or mat. She also likes snoozing in her kennel when we're home, but when she's at home alone she appreciates a little more space - we have a gated hallway with a fuzzy blanket and a couple peanut butter stations where she does great at settling. She easily sleeps through the night cozied up in a dog bed in our room. She has made huge progress when we're mindful of keeping a somewhat smaller world, and introducing new things slowly - new surroundings and people can make her a little nervous. Once she's comfortable though, snuggles & belly rubs are her fave! She just needs a little patience and understanding to take things a little slower/at her own pace. She loves lots of leashed time outside, but a fair distance from triggers (50+ feet). She's already improved while we've fostered her but is reactive to most other dogs and over threshold with cats and squirrels - we think she would flourish with a family dedicated to building her confidence in a calm environment, while continuing training with positive reinforcement training. She's a fantastic and sweet dog - and with patience, love and consistent training, she's sure to blossom into a loyal and beloved member of her family!
