My Story

Visit HWHANIMALRESCUE.COM for an Application to meet and possibly adopt Name: Judy Age: 7-years spayed Gender: female Weight: 30 pounds Breed: Mostly a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and German Shepard. (See DNA Sheet) Sadly, Judy’s previous owner recently passed away, and she’s now looking for a new family to love. She’s a sweet, affectionate, and loyal pup who would make a wonderful couch potato companion for someone looking for a quiet and calm dog. Judy loves nothing more than curling up with you for snuggles, and she’ll happily flop over for belly rubs whenever you’re up for it. This clever girl is food-motivated, making her eager to please and easy to train. Judy already knows several commands, including sit, stay, lie down, and beg, and she’s quick to pick up new tricks. Judy has experience with young children (ages 3–6) and has done well in those situations. However, she does have some resource-guarding tendencies when other dogs/cats are around, so she’d thrive best as the only pet in a household or in a home with experienced owners who can manage her interactions with other animals. Judy is house-trained and up to date on all shots. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and loyal companion who will always be by your side, Judy might just be the perfect match for you!
