JULIE is new to the rescue and is a super friendly and lovey pup who's a really nice girl. She's estimated younger at 1-2 and is a gorgeous chocolate lab mix. She's been around dogs and done well, but hasn't been around cats yet. As you can see from the pics and videos, she's great with kids and just loves people. We'll report back ASAP with more pics and first-hand info once we get from the foster. (We DO have an appt to ensure she's not pregnant as we have some concerns by appearance, but it may be that she recently had puppies vs being pregnant now. We'll be able to confirm shortly.)
Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months alter and chip will occur by ~7 months covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. Adoption also includes lifetime support of the rescue.
Please fill out an APPLICATION here for consideration: www.tinyurl.com/appshdr (copy and paste link into browser window if link is not active in your browser).
We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.
PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada for puppies who haven’t yet gotten their rabies shot - sorry! They need rabies vaccination to cross the border.)
