Junie

Meet Junie, a sweet and friendly young female pointer. At about 1-2 years old, this sweet girl is another example of a dog who found herself as a stray in a shelter with no one coming to claim her. Her foster mom reports that Junie is very sweet and affectionate. She has done really well with new people and for the most part is very gentle. She can get a bit excited like any young pup, but who can blame her? Mischievous? Sometimes, as she likes to take smaller items that that kids play with, but she can easily be redirected to her own doggie toys. She likes to chew toys and is getting more daring with balls and fetch. While not aggressive with the felines that she has met, she does chase them if they run. Energetic, Junie loves walks (but doesn't love the recent ice) and playing.Overall, she is really cute, smart, and playful. She has taken quickly to the rhythm of her foster home, and is a good coworker when foster mom is home working. Junie has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention and is microchipped. She weighs about 36 pounds.
