My Story

Meet Juniper, the cutest little pocket pittie/lab baby you'll ever meet! Juniper was a very shy, smiley girl at the shelter and we love our timid babies here at Pippy's Pals. It's so much fun seeing them blossom outside of the shelter. Just a few days in her foster home and Juniper was a whole new girl! So curious and confident. She is a friendly girl to everyone - lots of tail wags when meeting new people. She is also very gentle and lovely with small children. She has a 2 and 4 year old human foster siblings. She has medium to high energy - Juniper can just hang out and laze around or run/jump/play. As a young girl at 1 year old, she still has some puppy tendencies like chewing. Juniper is very friendly with dogs - at first, she is submissive and shy, but once she learns that the dog is friendly, she LOVES to play. We do recommend slow intros for her and no shared toys with another dog. She is still learning that toys are not something that need to be guarded. Without toys around, Juniper really adores other dogs. She is about 95% potty trained - still has a random accident every now and again but for the most part, she's great about holding it! She's is a little nervous in new environments but once she figures out she is safe, she is a playful, silly little girl. Juniper is: 1 year old 40lbs Spayed, Heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines Friendly, playful, silly, affectionate, 1/2 velcro dog and 1/2 miss independent Great with dogs Wonderful with kids of all ages Loves hanging her head out the window on car rides Still getting the hang of the crate - she whines at first but settles down quickly She would love a family who wants to take her on adventures - she loves to run and play. She could also benefit greatly from continued training (just like all dogs).
