Full of joy and curiosity, Miss Kaida’s days are filled with chasing butterflies and crickets, playing with dog friends and relishing being loved by her peeps. This lovely little purebred Lab lady is four months old and a perfect 30 pounds of puppy love. She came to us from a loving family who found their busy schedules didn’t mesh as they planned for life with an active, growing Lab puppy. Kaida quickly won her foster mom’s heart and has livened up the day for her three senior Lab housemates. Our little girl is crate trained, potties right away when taken outside and is working on signaling when she needs to go out. She’s one smart cookie when it comes to learning new things. She knows her name, sit and is working on leash walking. “There’s so much to explore! And you can be soooo slow!” she wags. Kaida is a well socialized puppy who’s happy and playful when meeting new people. She likes to retrieve and romp with other good-natured dogs who appreciate her puppy ways. The resident cat was not amused with her chasing and curiosity and made that perfectly clear! A typical Lab puppy, she needs supervision and lots of approved chewables lest she get into mischief with your things. Continued positive oriented training and patience with a puppy’s missteps are musts. Her foster mom remarks, “Kaida is a dreamboat! She’s a smart, happy, friendly, energetic puppy. I got her a ‘Jolly Ball’ and several sturdy chew toys, which she really enjoys. Yesterday evening she ran and played with my son’s two-year-old Lab for over an hour, and last night she slept from midnight to 7 AM. It’s amazing how good a tired puppy is!” A lovely little lady inside and out who will grow to be a wonderful companion for a special Lab loving family, that’s Miss Kaida! Note: Kaida will only be placed with a family consisting adults or older children who can treat a puppy with kindness and respect, and that has ample time throughout the day to devote to raising a puppy to responsible adulthood.
