Kahl

Kahl is an energetic, young guy that loves his dog and human friends! He's eager to learn, is treat motivated, and is doing very well learning tricks in his foster home. Kahl takes treats extremely gently. He almost mastered "sit" after just one day of practice! He could be a great water dog because he enjoys splashing around in the backyard pool and was fearless when we made a quick trip to the river. He is the perfect gentleman during the work day and sleeps while his foster works from home. He prefers to go on a long walk in the morning before settling in for the work day. After work, he's happy to play in the backyard and curl up on the couch. He can be trusted to eat meals around the other dogs in the house and hasn't displayed resource guarding of any kind (attention, toys, food). He would do well in a home with another playful dog but could also be happy as an only dog. He has done very well on all walks and hikes he's been on and would love to find an active family that will include him on lots of adventures! Kahl rides excellently in the car and will settle in until we get to our destination. He also seems fully potty trained. He sleeps silently through the night in his kennel, but he'd probably be interested in joining you in your bed if given the choice!
