My Story

Kane is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves to be wherever his humans are. This 6-year-old pup has had a rough start, but that hasn't diminished his spirit one bit! After being found wandering and alone, he was thankfully rescued and has been waiting for his forever home ever since. Despite his past, Kane is a very friendly, loyal, and gentle dog who loves his people. He's even great on walks and in the car! He is very quiet and dignified unless he's playing or going on an adventure with you, and he loves to give kisses and be petted. He is a very curious and playful dog who loves to investigate the world around him, but can also be a couch potato if the situation calls for it. He's an all-around great companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Kane does well with submissive dogs, but we feel his best place is as an only dog. He is living with several other dogs, but he likes to relax alone. He is outstanding with kids and very gently and sweet! If you're looking for a funny, sweet, and brave dog to join your family, look no further than Kane! Please consider giving this brave pup a chance at a happy life by reaching out to our rescue at [email protected]. He is currently in Maine, but we will transport to an approved applicant. Our only available foster happens to be in a rural area and we hope this boy can find a home with a great family but requires posting him in a different location.
