An excellent listener and is easy to redirect; sensitive to tone of voice Gentle, gentle, gentle Loyal and will connect and attach without being overbearing Knows all basic commands and responds appropriately. Would do best in an energetic & also quiet (balanced), healthy, connected, snuggly, home, Kennel and potty trained! Karl is 7 years old, and 65-70 lbs. He is currently living with 2 male dogs, and coexists nicely. His best match up would be a dog with mellow energy like his! He loves rides in the car, and showing you his toy when you walk through any door in the house. He also LOVES belly rubs, and is very food motivated. Karl has excellent house manners, he’s a total gentleman. He’s the perfect mix of laid back let’s take a nap and chill, or let’s go for a walk. He would be absolutely perfect for someone who wants a loving loyal companion, who likes to go for daily walks, and wants a chill adventure buddy. Karl has been to a carnival, on a ferry, out to dinner multiple times, the river on a busy day, he isn’t overly stimulated by people or dogs. He does wonderful in public places, and would be a great side kick for going out and about. He isn’t bothered by noises, people, or other dogs. He’s great with kids too! Karl isn’t leash reactive towards dogs, but will need some leash training with small critters like birds, bunnies and cats. He just started training to work on this, and he’s making huge strides, he’s very intelligent, and connects with his person. Karl will need a savvy leader.
