My Story

Meet this handsome boy we are calling Karl. He has the cutest set of ears!! Karl came to the shelter on 1/28 because he became lost on a grand adventure. He is a sweet boy that needs his life turned around very soon. He is a young pup that will grow up a big boy so growing up in a loud, overcrowded shelter is not ideal for him to start out in life. He is very intelligent as he knows his basic commands such as sitting when asked, down, and he may know more. He needs to work on stay but we are certain if you give him the time, patience, love, he will have that mastered in no time. You just got to give him a chance. He just needs people who love him no matter where he came from, that will give him the patience, love, respect and understanding that he deserves. He would certainly love a good. long brushing to his coat. This may have been the only home he has ever known. He would like to have that second chance to have a family once again and not stay in a shelter for too long. Can you help him find his way to his forever home? He would like that so much. Nice bed, lots of toys to play with, good meals and lots of love and attention from you. If you can help him make his dream come true, then he is your guy! Also, keep in mind that Karl is a breed that loves to be mentally stimulated with activities to keep him occupied everyday so he doesn't become bored and end up in the shelter ever again. Karl is current on vaccines, will be neutered and micro chipped upon his adoption. He has tested negative for heartworms which is wonderful news for him! He is in Run 802 and his ID is 7799. Karl is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 50lbs. He is still a baby and he really doesn't deserve to start out in life in a loud, overcrowded shelter. Please give this sweet boy a solid chance. He needs you now more than ever. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
