Meet Kato! ? I’m a handsome male Akita mix, tipping the scales at a perfectly adorable 28.5 pounds. I found my way to the shelter after quite a few chilly days on the run, and let me tell you—being inside is amazing! I’m a laid-back kind of guy, not much of a barker, and I’m quickly making friends with the humans here. But what I really dream of is a forever home with someone who will care for me and help me live my best life. Since I have a bit of a history as a runner, my ideal human would have a securely fenced yard or be ready to enjoy plenty of walks together.
