Kerry is the epitome of a lap dog, a small, love-seeking cutie who fits perfectly in your lap. She is as sweet as can be with a zen-level of peaceful ease. Her simple presence is incredibly calming but when she comes and sweetly asks, with those big eyes, if she can sit in your lap thats her magic touch. She even moves slow and steady, no urgency just presence.
This little girl is estimated to be 2 years old and weighing 11 adorable pounds she is the epitome of a little-bestie. With her mature, quiet confidence she is up for little dress up sessions and running errands with you or relaxing at home on the couch. If your lap is available that is where she is going to want to be and will quickly become her favorite spot. Our observation tells us she may be a Yorkie/Chihuahua/dachshund mix. Of course, given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or age but we do guarantee cuteness and lovability!
Kerrys dream home would be a peaceful place, where other pets are welcome, but the most important element is love and security. Her needs are basic, it truly is a person to literally lean on and a soft place to lay. She would make a wonderful companion for someone in the slower days of life and would be a perfect small living-space companion, whether thats an apartment, condo, or retirement community. She will offer gentle hellos to anyone she meets without ever being pushy or insistent. If kids are in her life it would be best if they were slightly older only so they can understand that she needs to be treated with care.
She is a dream on leash and does well in the car so whether its walks or errands, she will be happy to be included. We all fell head over heels for Kerry and know you will too!

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
