Khalessi

Meet Khalessi! Khalessi is a 1.5-year-old Norfolk Terrier who came to us as a stray with her sister. Weighing in at just 16 pounds, this little girl is packed with personality and love! She is incredibly sweet and absolutely adores humans, always eager to snuggle up for a cuddle session. Khalessi is great with kids and other dogs, though she does have some resource guarding tendencies with food when around other dogs, but not humans. So, mealtime supervision with other pups is recommended. She's an adventurous spirit who has figured out how to climb fences, so she'll need to be monitored while outside. She loves running around with her sister and friends and is happiest when she's playing or curled up in someone's lap. She's doing well on a leash but is still working on perfecting her skills, including potty training. Khalessi is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and has received ProHeart 12 for her heartworm prevention. She will need to be retested in six months to ensure she is heartworm-free. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
