Kierson

Meet Kierson! Kierson came to AWS after we pulled her from Jefferson County Animal Control. She was surrendered to them after her owner could no longer afford to care for her. We are hoping to find her an amazing new home! He is estimated to be around 5-6 months old. Her breed mix is unknown (definitely some bully breed in there though). We believe she will be on the larger side full grown. The previous owner stated that Kierson gets along with children and other dogs. It is unknown how she is with cats. Meet and greets are required for children and other dogs. Kierson is definitely a very active, high energy girl. She is on the shy side at first and takes some time to adjust. Due to this, multiple meet and greets with adopters may be best to ensure she is comfortable. She seems to take longer to adjust to men. We are also working with her on leash walking. Just like all dog in a shelter environment, Kierson will need work on house breaking upon going into a home. We believe with structure and routine that she would catch on quickly. Kierson will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption.
