King

King is a one-of-a-kind dog with a stocky build, endearing underbite, and sweet disposition. He was an owner surrender down in Texas and had wounds filled with maggots from infection and scars all over his face, most likely from being a bait dog. He has since been treated and has recovered amazingly. Despite his past, he still craves attention and loves to play. This energetic low rider is housetrained, crate-trained, and very food-motivated. He would do best with slow introductions to friendly and calm dogs and without kitties in the home. King is about 2 years old and currently 50 lbs, but underweight.
