My Story

***Fenced Yard Required for All Dogs*** Please Note - Kipster is being cared for by Fayette County Animal Rescue in Rossville, TN. Adopter's Costs: Adoption Fee $95.00 Transport Fee $165.00 Health Certificate $25.00 For videos of our adoptable animals, check out our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/channel/UCeG4XqjKtZFAYVM6EFV4FRQ "Hi! My name's Kipster, but you can call me Kip if you want. I love playing with kids and some dogs - but I like my quiet time, too, and prefer to not share my food. I'll respect you if you're the same and don't want to share your French fries." "I like being the leader and I'm prepared to get ahead. My foster mom calls me a "door dasher", which means I love to try and rush out the door so I can go exploring. (Apparently, that's not a good thing, but I disagree)." "I love toys, kibble, banjo music, and football. And since I am talented enough to climb a chain link fence, I must go to a home with a tall, sturdy fence." Kipster's date of birth is 9/11/2019 and he weighs 41 pounds. FOSTER UPDATE!!! *Tell us about a time that made you smile or when they did something cute or heartwarming. Kipster made me smile when he had the snow zoomies. *When was your foster(s) the happiest? What did that look like? Kipster loves being outside! *Tell us any ways that your foster(s) grew, or anything learned while in your home. Kipster was so excited at first but now he's calmed down a little and is listening better. *Briefly describe your foster(s). What kind of home do you think your foster would blossom in? I think he needs homes where he is the only pet. Kipster would do great with someone who loves the outdoors. **SINCE WE ARE UNABLE TO DO MEET AND GREET, WE RECOMMEND KIPSTER BE THE ONLY DOG** All our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95. This fee includes: *Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following: • Fenced yard. We will ask for a video that shows the entire fence so that we can verify that there are no holes or gaps where the dog could escape. (We do not accept invisible fences.) • Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet. • If renting, verification with the Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions. If you are interested in adopting one our rescues, please complete our Online Adoption Application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/animals.
