My Story

Kipper is a 12 week old, 13 lb male Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mixed breed. Kipper is currently located in South Texas and will be transported north. This sweet little guy is Kipper, and he is a cutie. True, his photos are a bit blurry, but this little pup is an action man! He and his sister Kibbles were abandoned at a local pet store, and they were hungry and frightened. But as all things in puppy world, yesterday's disaster is in the past and Kipper is now a friendly, playful little guy. His little belly is now filling up and he has tons of energy to run, wrestle and play like any normal puppy would. He sleeps in his crate with his sister and is working on potty training, but as a new rescue pup, he is a work in progress on that front. But a smart puppy learns quickly, and Kipper is a smart little guy. He does well when he is around the older dogs in the home, and he would love to have a dog buddy of his own in his forever home, but some doggy playdates would work as well. He has not yet been out for a walk on a leash at his age, but puppies are little sponges and he can learn quickly once he is able to venture out safely. Right now Kipper's main concerns include eating, playing, begging for treats and watching the resident cats (he is curious but perfectly fine with the kitties). If you would like to meet Kipper and get to know a little more about him, he would be thrilled to FaceTime with you. (Note: Kipper is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport). Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $700 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.
