My Story

A24935 Koda is a black and brown colored, approximately 3-year-old, 87-pound, spayed female, Doberman Pinscher. She entered the shelter an owner surrender on 01-13-2025 due to the fact his landlord wouldn't allow the dog. Koda is a friendly, social, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is a friendly girl that loves people. Saying she is waiting by the kennel door to get out for a walk and some attention. She was easy to leash but pulls in excitement to be out for a walk. She is a strong girl who will need a strong owner to walk and train her. She has had some training and will "sit" and "shake" upon command. However, she is very excited and doesn't hold command for long. She shows not real interest, to a friendly tail wag interest, in other dogs here at the shelter. But a meet and greet is recommended if there is another dog in the home. She would do great with an active family and a yard to run and play in. Koda will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.
