Koko and Katy 6 month old, 43 pound Hound mix PUPS! They are healthy and happy pups who will be even happier when their new families come to adopt them. There is a 3rd sibling who has been adopted. These pups came in as strays on Sept 24 and were not reclaimed. They are all good leash walkers and are super nice and are 'socially' where they should be for their age (attentive, tail waggin' and people-loving youngsters). They will be fine going to separate homes and getting ALL the attention!
Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
