2/25/25: Foster to adopt home needed! Everyone meet Sweetie and Koko. This sweet duo came in on our most recent transport from Kentucky. These girls had known nothing but love in their previous home, but the owner had to make the difficult decision to rehome them when she could no longer take care of them by herself. They will need to be placed as a bonded pair sincebthey have been together simce they were puppies. Sweetie is just that, the sweetest little 3yr old female Toy Poodle around. She is a total lap dog and cuddler. Koko is a 3 yr female Yorkshire Terrier ~10#. She is a bit shy at first buy also very gentle amd a gpod companion for Sweetie. Due to their size and age, foster to adopt requirements are: - They must go as a pair since they are bonded -Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY so they can continue any vetting needed prior to adoption. -Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered. -Likesized dogs should be ok, depending on a meet and greet. -Homes with children over 10 years old should be ok but will depend on a meet and greet. -Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match. -Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet. An adoption donation of $800 is being asked for the pair (this is $100 discount of our normal fees) if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. They had their vet check, are current on vaccines and external parasite treatment and they have been spayed. Please help us to continue helping those that knock on our doors! Foster to adopt pets are limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams, NY and pets must be taken to our vets office for care until adoption. All pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
