My Story

ABOUT KOR Calling all GSD lovers, meet our handsome boy! Kor is a 7-month-old German Shepherd puppy with a big personality and lots of energy! He was brought to HAP when his owners were leaving the country and could not bring him. Kor is already house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. He is also extremely food motivated and eager to learn! In true GSD fashion, he is very curious about everything and loves to explore. He is still learning how to use his extra long legs, so he may run into things or flop around for a bit. He is very friendly with new people and quick to sit at your feet or lean into you for love. Kor has done well with other dogs, though he is still learning that he's not a tiny puppy anymore, so a dog that can keep up with his size and energy would be best! He loves meeting doggy friends on walks or playing in our fenced fields. He would thrive in an active household, where he can get the exercise and mental stimulation a GSD needs. Once his activity needs are met, he melts into the mushiest boy, longing for snuggles and a nice nap! If you've been looking for a big goofball or simply love the qualities of a German Shepherd, then come meet Kor! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
