What my friends at OHS say about me: Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite a talkative guy. Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets. Need a pal to motivate you to get up and go? That's me! Looking to try cool dog activities or sports? I am a great partner for that! Treats and time are the way to my heart! Give me some of each and as I get more comfortable my true personality will shine. Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish. I love to learn! I was brought in through the Second Chance Program from a state where dogs have a higher likelihood of heartworm infection. The type of home I'm looking for: I would flourish in an active home with plenty of outlets for my energy! Physical and Mental enrichment is a must! I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am! I had so much fun meeting another dog here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends!
