Laddie

Laddie is a 4-year-old Beagle with plenty of energy packed into his 22-pound frame. This sweet and spirited boy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative. Laddie is house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to charm his way into your heart! Laddie gets along well with the male Chihuahua in his foster home and does great with other dogs after slow introductions. With his friendly yet cautious nature, he’s looking for a calm home where he can feel safe and loved. He’d thrive with older kids who respect his space and a yard to explore and play in. Laddie does experience some anxiety, but with patience and a steady routine, he’ll show you his loving, loyal side. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as Pet Finder, and are no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
