Lady

Lady is a 2 ½ year old female. She was thin and freezing when found as a stray in December. We don’t know much about her background, and being a lady, she isn’t saying. What we do know from her foster, is that Lady is housebroken. When left alone in a bedroom while the foster is at work, she has had no accidents nor has she chewed or damaged anything. Lady is calm, laid back, and well behaved. She is steadily gaining weight and will be at her ideal weight soon. Lady lives with a medium sized dog and two cats. She does well with other dogs with slow introductions. Lady does acknowledge the cats when they enter the room, but they are relaxed around her and she has shown no interest in bothering them. Lady is happy to meet new people. She doesn’t bark when approached. Once she meets you, you will have a new best friend! We don’t know how she is with kids, but suspect she is fine with older kids. Lady takes treats very gently, and is happy to take any treat offered! She does pull on a leash, so will need to learn leash manners. Lady does know the commands sit and down. She does not seem to have any obedience training. ------------------- Our Adoption Fees: ------------------- *Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450 * Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400 * Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options: (1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $400 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE. (2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
