Meet Lady May! This medium-sized mixed breed weighs just under 50 pounds and is as delicate as a flower. While she can be shy and timid when making new friends, a little patience (and her favorite treats!) will have her warming up in no time. Once she feels comfortable, her true personality shines--transforming into the ultimate zoomie queen who loves to run, play with her favorite toys, and soak up all the love from her people! Lady May adores attention and enjoys being showered with pets. Due to her initial nervousness, we recommend she meets only older children (12 and up) who can give her the gentle reassurance she needs. When it comes to canine companions, she is selective--preferring calm, well-mannered dogs that match her energy. She may need multiple meet-and-greets to ensure a perfect fit. However, she is not a fan of cats and will need a cat-free home. This sweet girl walks wonderfully on a leash, so while a backyard isn't required, she would absolutely love one to run and play in!
