My Story

Larry, the definition of family dog. He LOVES kids, cats, other dogs, shoot, I'd bet he'd befriend a mountain lion if he could! At about 7 months old, 30 pounds, his amazing, gentle demeanor is more than you could ever ask for. He's got his basic commands down, along with being crate-trained, seemingly house-broken, & he's essentially an adult dog, laid back, easy-going, but is also more than willing to play, romp the doggy run with other dogs, and wiggle his butt ALL the time! Larry will do phenomenally in just about ANY home, if you sit on the floor, or the sofa with some treats and sweet talking, you're bound to get a Larry in your lap, giving you kisses! Larry got to spend most of his life in a foster before coming to us, so we know that he's one amazing boy, and just needs a little bit of time before he's just anyone's best friend; when he's being bashful at first, all he does is sit in the corner and observe! He's such a good boy! My adoption fee is only $210! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter! Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!! Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns. DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following: Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level) Source documents from which to analyze characteristics Consultation with other staff
