Lasey here! I was found almost hairless during the first cold snap not long ago. At first it seemed like nobody was gonna do anything to help me, but finally some nice humans got me in off the streets! I was in rough shape -- my claws were even curled into my paw pads! I've learned humans are capable of letting you down...but also coming to your rescue when you need it most. I’m a lucky girl cause I’m in a foster home now, but I still need a home of my OWN! My foster momma says I’m a loving, friendly, and affectionate dog! Sure, I’m a little shy and clingy, but I’ve been been through a lot, so who could blame me? Check out the other tidbits she’s shared about yours truly: - displays no food or resource guarding behaviors ??- friendly with other dogs, requires time to initiate play - a playful, passive canine companion would likely benefit confidence ??- good with cats - exhibits anxiety when outdoors - uncomfortable in crate, so discontinued use - does not destroy things In the first 2 weeks, I did have a few bathroom accidents, but I’ve been better with a consistent routine with at least 7 hours between eliminations! And guess what? I haven’t damaged any toys or shoes, either! Nope, not me. I really try to earn my keep! I’m all ready to meet my new adoptive family! Maybe it can be you?
