Hi, my name is Lassie and I love nature!
Whether it’s going on long walks or chasing random critters in the yard, outside is my happy place. I haven’t rescued anyone from wells, but I’m open to possibilities.
As much as I love the outdoors, I love snuggles just as much!! I’d be happy to sit in your lap and binge watch shows with you! If you have another young dog or kids that like to play, I’d love playmates!! I’m still working on some of my manners, but am eager to please and would do great in doggy school. And honestly, everyone talks about how cool surfing is - how was I supposed to know it involved boards and not counters. Humans need to be more specific sometimes. All of my pups found good homes, I’m eager to find one too!!
Her foster says: Lassie is so sweet sitting politely for snuggles & pets. She's housetrained & well behaved, reliable in the house & is adjusting well to her crate training. She's making good progress with her leash manners, but will still pull at times if she becomes very interested in something. She will bark if she hears a noise or someone coming up to the backyard gate, which is appropriate alert, she does not bark excessively.
She loves playing with other dogs and is great with kids too and she is even good with cats! Kids love playing with her and she's an endless babysitter :-)
Lassie is about 1-2 years old, weighs approximately 50lbs & has a medium energy level. She can be a spitfire and your exercise partner but she also settles down beautifully and loves to snuggle on the couch with you. She really enjoys her play time with the family kids, other dogs & her toys (she's very gentle with kids & she really loves her stuffies!).
She's spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
Her adoption fee is $395 plus $30 for a health certificate and $220 for transport - she was brought up to IL from TX where our Rescue is and the transport fee was paid by the Rescue.
