Leah is a lovable, active girl who’s fully potty trained and even has her own adorable way of letting you know when it’s time to go outside — a little cute howl! Leah’s absolute favorite thing in the world is going for walks, and she’s a dream on the leash. She’d be an excellent companion for an active family who enjoys outdoor activities like walking and hiking. Whether it’s a brisk walk around the neighborhood or an adventure on a nature trail, Leah will be by your side, eager and excited. But don’t be fooled — after a day of fun, Leah turns into the sweetest little cuddle bug! She’s a calm and affectionate companion who loves snuggling on the couch with her family in the evenings, making her the perfect cozy companion after a busy day. Leah sleeps soundly through the night (from 9pm-7:30am) on her foster’s couch without a peep. Leah will do best in an adult-only home with patient adopters who can give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and build trust. She’s a sensitive girl, so slow introductions and consistent routines will help her settle in. Leah gets along beautifully with other dogs and could thrive in a home with doggy siblings or as the only pup. However, she’d prefer a home without cats.
