Meet Lena! This sweet petite girl is READY for her forever home. Lena came into a South Carolina shelter when she was found as a stray with the rest of her litter. At the time, she was at the time underweight and not in a great shape so a good samaritan adopted her to get her healthy and out of a shelter environment. Over time, she has grown her fur back, gained weight, and has become a terribly silly girl, sweet, mostly chill pup who LOVES meeting and playing with all types of dogs. She currently lives with an 11 year old chihuahua mix and is great on leash but above all, her love for all dogs is palpable. She has several best friends in the neighborhood and has done dog parks (small dogs as she gets trampled in the big dog park). She's very well socialized and wonderful, but her foster is relocating to France within the year and because Lena has pit bull mix in her DNA she is banned from entering the EU. Notes from her foster mom: - House trained (I do get up at 5:30am/6am to let her out when she wakes up) - Raised with a food-aggressive 10-year old chihuahua mix and has been super submissive to her - About 7 months old now. Up to date on all vaccinations - Her spay appt is set for Oct 22 (vet wanted to wait for her red blood cell count to get higher) - Knows commands: 'Sit' and 'no bite' when she nibbles in excitement but this has greatly been stopping with each passing day - Loves to play but also sleeps. I find Lena incredibly chill for a puppy. She is not a 'handful' as many pups might be. - A lover of chew toys (hard rubber kinds). Grabs shoes but literally does no damage.
