Meet Lena! Adoptable Lena has been in her foster home for two years … let that sink in … TWO YEARS. Lena has been waiting a long time for her perfect person. She came to us from another rescue and we are hoping that we can be her bridge between to her forever home. We know there’s a wonderful person or family out there for this incredible girl.Lena is about 5 years old and about 55 pounds. She is crate, potty, and leash trained. She is just as beautiful inside as out, and she stands out with her cleft lip! This girl is special all around. When Lena came into her foster home, it was apparent that she had some reactivity issues with other animals, bikes, loud noises etc. but her foster parents have spent the last two years working with her, and she has worked so hard to be less reactive to what once triggered her. Lena  was professionally trained by Canine Revolution, and she now goes on two walks daily with no issues, and has even had new foster dogs come into the home! With an adopter who understands Lena and will continue implementing her training, she will continue to thrive. Lena’s ideal home not only includes adopters who will implement her training into her structure and routine, but a person/family who will give her endless love. Lena loves to cuddle on the couch, and her fosters say physical attention is her love language. Outside of her daily walks, she is a very lazy and laid back gal. Lena would be perfectly content as the only dog in the home, but does well with submissive dogs as well.  Lena is up to date on vaccines and prevention, spayed, and microchipped. She did have a surgery on her back leg a few years ago so big stairs and getting in/out of the car can be a little harder, but she still does great with both with a helping hand.
