My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Lena (LEN1124ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Pointer MIX Approximate Age: 8 months Approximate Weight: 30 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Lena! She is a young, friendly, and sweet-natured girl who is on the hunt for a loving forever home. She can be a bit shy at first, but her shyness is a charming quality that makes her even more endearing. Lena has a great temperament and gets along well with other dogs. Her loving personality will make her a perfect addition to any home. She's eager to find a family who will embrace her sweetness and treat her as one of the "pack". Adopt Lena, and let her fill your home with happiness and unconditional love! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
