Meet Leo! Leo is about 2 years old, 43lbs, and he may have some heeler in his mix! In his foster home, he is working hard on with his house-training, crate- training and leash-walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. Cats are unknown. Leo was treated for Heartworm and is now ready for adoption.
His foster says, "Leo is a big sweetheart that loves to be near you and will always be ready on the fly to play. He is very eager to please and just genuinely wants to be involved in activities. He gets really happy when he sees his favorite people and is working on impulse control to limit his jumping when over-stimulated. He can quickly match your energy and settle down when he needs to. He will make a great household member for an active family who loves to involve their dog in activities, movie night or hiking, he just wants to be included. He loves squeaky balls from barkbox super chewers and beef cheek chews. He is good motivated and learning to take treats slowly from your hand."
