**Not in HFG care - posting for owner re-home*** LEO IS URGENT!! CANNOT STAY IN HIS CURRENT HOME. HIS LAST DAY IS 11/23. Leo is a 55lb mix. He is 2.5 years old and no longer is a fit inside his current home, and his owner is out of time. He is crate trained, house trained, neutered, utd on shots, and great with kids. He is incredibly intelligent and food motivated, and would thrive in a home as an only dog. He has been in boarding/doggy day care as recently as July - where he generally gets along with most dogs. That being said, resource guarding his humans has led to him no longer getting along with the resident dog, and our recommendation is that he is an only dog household. As part of his adoption fee, Leo will get one year of pet insurance and 5 training sessions to help him bond to his new owner, perfect his recall, place, and leash training - to make him an even better fit in any home! Due to shelters and rescues being full, Leo will be euthanized if placement is not found for him by 11/23. If interested, please reach out to be connected to the owner.
