LeRoy

LeRoy is a silly young beagle mix that weighs about 16lbs. He is funny and playful, and quickly learning to love living in a home. Tossed into the yard of a closed shelter by his previous owner, we can only assume that LeRoy had a rough life before coming to us. Despite the way he has been treated by people in the past, he is super friendly and loving! He also loves being around other dogs and playing with toys. LeRoy is quiet in a crate, but will need work on leash training. We don't believe he has ever had a collar or leash before, so it is a whole new experience for him. He is also working on potty training. He was likely a fully outdoor dog before coming to us, so he is still learning but doing really well! LeRoy is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested heartworm negative. His adoption will include a contract for his neuter appointment that will be covered by the rescue. LeRoy has had some previous damage done to the tip of his tail - it does not seem to bother him at all, but his new owner will need to keep an eye on it. All in all, this pint-size guy will make a funny little friend and companion for almost any home!
