After spending a month with a foster family in South Korea, she traveled to the U.S. She was briefly adopted but returned when her family could no longer meet her needs (not Leslie’s fault). Since mid-December, Leslie has been thriving in New England with an experienced foster family. Her delightful, affectionate personality has earned her the nickname “Leslie Knope,” just like the lovable character she’s named after!
