Just when you think the human race can't be any worse, along comes the story of Johnny and his three siblings. These puppies are our LUCKY FOUR!! They are lucky to be alive and it's thanks to some unhoused individuals in a homeless encampment who saw a garbage bag and noticed movement. Thanks to their quick actions, the puppies were released from the garbage bag that could have taken their lives. These same people cared for the puppies for two weeks to see to it they thrived. When we were alerted to the situation, we knew we had to help. The puppies are about 9 weeks old and all appear to be healthy. They were checked out at the vet on Tuesday 2/25 and received a clean bill of health. Johnny and his siblings are ready for their forever homes. All are very well adjusted and social, friendly and affectionate with everyone they meet. Since they are so new to the rescue, we're still getting to know them. Given their young age, they are probably just learning potty and crate training.
